This is not going to be an easy review, at the very least it’s going to be a little complicated to set up. What I'm saying is that if you're not from the United States, this candy is not what you expect, I assure you. This is not a gummy themed to a candy-coated chocolate, it's a gummy version of those rocket candies you get on Halloween. They call those rocket things "Smarties" in the U.S. but everywhere else in the world they call them rockets.
Now I'm feeling really ripped off with these gummies. First of all, these look more like gummy Lifesavers than gummy Smarties. I can’t figure out why these candies have holes when regular Smarties do not. I can get around that if I try. I mean it's only a detail, and even though I'm a stickler for details, I can live with it. The big problem I have with these gummy Smarties is the word "sour" on the package. Having eaten half of these Smarties so far, I taste no sour at all, not even a hint. I don't like being lied to of mislead by a candy package. Lying makes the Candy Critic mad and when the Candy Critic is mad, he gives low scores.
The only nice part of this treat has to be the flavour they’re fairly fruit and an okay representation of the classic American Smarties. The texture isn't bad either, chewy just like any good gummy should be. While the resemblance to the classic Smarties in flavour and the nice texture is good, it doesn't make up for the lack of sour that was promised on the package.
