One look at these treats and I say, "Yuck!" I said "yuck" in the way that also means, "Let me at them." Gummies make for such great candies that are themed to gross out foods. The texture is a little strange, and they can be moulded into such a huge range of shapes. I’m frankly surprised that the first gummy ever wasn’t a bug shaped candy (it was a bear).

You may be looking at that gummy wondering what's inside... what could possibly make such a red-like colour? You can actually see the red center through the slightly translucent body of this gummy bug. These guys really did this right and went for red blood-like jelly guts. I love it when gummies have more than one texture, and I love it even more when they're themed to the treat.

I bite into my little gummy friend and I say: “Bug off my little friend, this is for all those mosquito bites I've gotten camping. This is for that yellow jacket bite I got last year. This is for the deerfly bites that still give me the heebie-jeebies to this day!" I can't say enough about a candy that let's you exact revenge on an entire area of the animal kingdom. Revenge is sweet, and fruity, too.
