It's kind of obvious to make gummy candies with a booger theme. Those who don't like gummies often say that the texture is the biggest problem, and one can likely associated the texture of gummies as that of boogers. Although it seems like a given, I can imagine that it would be a hard sell to candy eaters of the world. At best you'll have a few people buying gummy boogers as a novelty, it's likely that most people wouldn't seek these out. The only way this candy could go beyond novelty is if it tasted fantastic.
Unfortunately, that's not the case. There are three flavours of gummies, Strawboogy, Sour Green Boogy, and Snotterine. The Strawboogy and the Snotterine tasted fine, although they didn't have any particular fruit flavour. I can guess that they're supposed to be strawberry and tangerine, but that's based more on the name on the package than the flavour itself. The Sour Green Boogy is the one worth mentioning, and not in a good way. First of all, this flavour seemed to dominate this box of gummies, with 50% or more being Sour Green Boogy flavoured. While I assume that these were supposed to be green apple, I tasted nothing apple at all. Instead it was a slightly sour undesirable gross flavour.
The only thing that worked for these gummies was the texture. While I can't recall ever eating boogers (I likely tried them when I was little but I don't remember), these had a texture that seemed correct. It felt like a fairly dense yet very squishy gummy. The concept wasn't bad either, so I'll give them credit there as well. The problem is the flavours just didn't work at all. They went from meh to horrible, so bad that I couldn't even finish the Sour Green Boogy gummies.
