Sour Raspberry

IKEA

You should keep in mind as I write this, I’ve completely forgotten what the name of this candy is, and what flavour it’s supposed to be. You can read the name of this candy above since I had it written down, but as I’m writing this I’m sitting someplace where I don’t have the name of it in front of me, or any idea what flavour it’s supposed to be. My guess is that it’s some kind of fruit, maybe a red fruit. I would best compare it to classic gummy feet or maybe the filling of a Big Turk bar, but a little fruitier. The flavour also seems to stay in my mouth a little longer than I remember gummy feet, but it’s been a while since I’ve eaten a gummy foot, so I could be wrong.

Texture wise these are nothing like gummy feet at all. These are much chewier, and they don’t stick to my teeth as much as gummy feet either. I only have two of these, but I would imagine an entire bag of these would be way too much on your jaw. I’d say texturally in moderation these are a pretty satisfying chew, but too many might cause discomfort.

This is not a revolutionary gummy at all, but they taste fine enough. It’s not something I would go out of my way to try, but if I was buying bulk candy at IKEA again, I might pick a few up.
