Because of the name of this treat, I thought that when I bit into it I would taste pink elephants, or melting clocks, but fortunately I tasted a mouthful of chocolate goodness. It’s kind of an interesting name for a treat that really isn’t that strange. One would expect a treat with a name like Surreal to have some kind of strange twist, something unexpected. It’s not that I’m disappointed by what I got, but I think the name is a little misleading.

The Surreal is a great little mouthful of chocolate, crunch with a bit of a coffee flavor. The best part of this treat has to be the crunch. Surrounded by chocolate and filled with a chocolate fudge center this crunchy shell is a great addition. It has a really interesting texture, bubbly and just the right thickness to balance with the rest of the ingredients. I think that the coffee flavour comes from this crunchy bit, but I can't prove it.

The only problem with this treat has to be the quality of the chocolate, it's not that bad but if you improved it a little more this treat would be a high class chocolate, even with the weird name.
