Puccho Stick "Cherry"

UNA

These Puccho Sticks are pretty good. When I saw these, I thought that I might be getting some kind of strange candy that’s actually long fruit flavoured sticks, but that wasn’t the case at all. In fact, what I got were a bunch of small chewy fruit flavoured cubes. It’s not that I’m disappointed, I’m just not sure I really understand why they’re called “sticks”. Fortunately, they certainly make up for the strange name in the flavour and texture.

Each little cube is a milky, cherry, chew thing. Each cube has these strange little gummy red dots in them, and while they really don't do much for texture; maybe they're responsible for the cherry flavour. I'll try biting into one of the gummy red dots and see what happens... I can't really tell if the flavour is coming from these dots, but I can tell you that it's really chewy. This is certainly a very unique candy, like nothing I’ve ever tried before, one reason I kind of like these imported candies. These Puccho Sticks aren't bad at all, we should be making more things like this in North America.

On another note, I must say I really like the package, it's all about the happiness of a couple of cherry people and a little dancing jug of milk. It's nice to have little smiling faces when you open up your treat, it makes your day seem that much better.
