Ice Cream Rolls

Three flavours, and you'd think the best thing to do would be pick one and write, write, write away, right? Well, I've decided to get all Neapolitan on this particular review and I'm going to do it... I'm going to review all three. Yup, I'm going there and there's nothing you or anybody can do about it.

Vanilla: The thing about this particular flavour is that I can't really tell when the cone thing starts and the vanilla ends. I guess the vanilla just doesn't have the power it needs to compete. Better luck next time, vanilla.

Chocolate: The chocolate isn't much better than the vanilla, although I do have a bit of a chocolate aftertaste. It, too, could use a bit of a boost. I'm a little disappointed - I was expecting so much more from chocolate.

Strawberry: This has a much stronger strawberry flavour, and it tastes just like cheap strawberry ice cream. Not that it's a bad thing. I don't mind the flavour of fake strawberries that much. I'm one of the only true Neapolitan fans that I know of, who actually likes all the flavours (strawberry, chocolate and vanilla) fairly equally.

I guess the cone portion of these treats have just too strong of a flavour to compete with the flavour of the fillings, with the exception of maybe the strawberry. This could be a problem for you if you're the standard Neapolitan ice cream eater who only really likes the vanilla and chocolate ice cream. If you’re a more balanced Neapolitan ice cream eater you might be disappointed as well, but at least you’ll enjoy the strawberry.
