Salty? What in the world is this candy up to. When you first eat this little brown square of caramel, it seems like a regular treat and then all of a sudden, its salty. I'm not to sure if this flavour combination is good or bad. The thing is I have plenty of time to think about it because the strange thing is the 'salty' doesn't go away or even die down. In fact, the salty flavour seems to get stronger the longer you eat it.
I was expecting a regular caramel when I first opened this candy up, fun for the whole family, but what I got was something a little different and I'm not disappointed. This is truly an interesting way to experience salty and sweet together. The caramel is of a good quality, and the salt is plentiful. So you have a fairly good treat, but with a really salty flavour.
I would say that although the saltiness is a bit of a shock this Fleur de Caramel was pretty good. I'm not to sure how many of these I could eat in a row, but it was an interesting experience none the less.
