This review has to be one of the first reviews that may be improved due to unfair advantages. The unfair advantage is the freshness of the particular piece I had. Normally when you buy a piece of Dubble Bubble at a store it’s hard. Sometimes it’s just a little bit firm, sometimes it’s as hard as a rock. This particular piece however was super soft, and there’s a reason. The wonderful people at the Dubble Bubble plant sent me a fresh pack of gum. When I say that this was fresh, the bag came off the manufacturing line a few hours before I ate it and man was it good. We’ll just have to agree that this review is a little biased.

With a wonderful taste unique to Dubble Bubble, this gum is one of the greatest sugar gums made today. The best part of this gum is the simplicity of the flavor. Rather than fill itself up with fruity flavors, Dubble Bubble sticks with the classic regular flavor. I'm not really sure what flavor regular is but in this case it tastes great. There still has yet to be a good tasting gum with long lasting flavor but this one is not that disappointing.

Texture wise it wouldn’t be fair if I talked too much about it. All I can say is the age of the gum is crucial. If you ever get to try a really fresh piece of Dubble Bubble, do it. You’ll be amazed at how easily it melts in your mouth, and how much your jaw doesn’t hurt.
