I'm guessing the folks that designed this little treat thought that maybe the old Twix bar needed more cookie. This idea is something that I completely disagree with. Why in the world would you create a variation of a classic candy bar, not really change anything, but just add more of one element. I don't understand it and I don't like it.

The part of this bar that I’m okay with is the individual elements of this bar. The chocolate is fine, in fact it's pretty high quality European chocolate. The caramel is okay, although it really needs much more caramel to balance out with the cookie. In fact of all the elements of this bar the amount or lack of amount of caramel is really the biggest problem for me. The cookie is fine as well, it's just that there's so much of it.

I don't know, maybe if it didn't say Twix on it, I wouldn't be so negative in this review. I think I had some preconceived notions when I bit into it that I would get something similar to a Twix bar. I still think it's a little over done on the cookie side, but maybe it's not as bad as I think it is. Unless you're comparing it to a regular Twix bar, then it’s really not that great.
