The Twix bar is one of those bars that really doesn't have to many different versions of itself. I’m not sure why they don’t make a huge variety of flavours of Twix since it had some potential, and it’s very popular. There’s the caramel, which is the original, I think I've seen a peanut butter version, and now Java. The thing I like about this bar is that I love it when companies don't want to use the word “coffee” to describe the flavour but instead choose a hip and cool word to replace it. Maybe it makes the treat seem trendier and hipper if you use the word “java”. Maybe coffee is for old people, and a java is for the cool kids. Either way to me Java means coffee and I'm not a big fan of the stuff.
The good news about this bar is that the coffee flavour isn't really that strong. Because of this I didn't really mind this bar that much. That's great news for all you people out there that don't really like coffee, but then I ask you, why did you buy this bar? Pretty much it's just a regular Twix bar with a light hint of coffee, which pretty much means it's not going to please anyone. It’s as if they couldn’t commit to making a coffee candy bar, and decided to just suggest the flavour instead.
If you like coffee you'll be disappointed with how weak the flavour is. If you don't like coffee you'll probably be annoyed and you should probably just go for a regular Twix anyways.
