I've made my opinion of bars that come up with a million different varieties well know in the past, but I'll summarize once more. I hate it when a candy company tries to market a bar with one simple, and cliché, change. I can't tell you how many white chocolate, orange flavoured, or extra caramel bars I've tasted in my life. It's not original, and it rarely works. So, you can imagine that my first opinion of this bar isn't great.
I also hate it when candy companies sell a bar for a "limited time" when the candy is not seasonally themed. This is basically telling me that they're not confident with their product, and they don't want to stand behind their product 100%. These companies spend millions of dollars researching the candy market, why can't they come up with a bar that's more original, and that they have some confidence in.
So now that you know how I feel about the principle of this bar, here's what I actually thought of the bar itself: It's exactly what I expected. White chocolate does not really work well with the Twix bar. It's not horrible, but it’s kind of bland and it's not an improvement over the original at all. I would hope that with a candy company coming out with a different variety of bar, that they would be trying to improve on the bar, and not detract from the original greatness. It's like making a fine dinner for your family, then taking it away from them and giving them the same meal but on that was microwaved for about 2 hours. It's the same meal, but it's been changed and now it's not as good.
