Wow, the candy bar is actually exactly what I expected. I’m not sure if I’m getting better at predicting what’s inside candy wrappers, or if Seven Seven (the people who made this bar, are just that good at designing candy bar wrappers. I can't tell you how many times I've purchased a treat with a non-English package and been completely wrong in my guess about the contents. While I’m surprised to get this bar so right, I'm not sure if I'm happy about it or not. On the one hand I got what I paid for, but on the other hand I was denied the surprise I so often get with un readable (because I don’t read the language) packaging.
When we look at the bar, the nougat is pretty good. It's not overly whipped or too soft; I really like nougat with a bit of backbone to it. This bar is fairly satisfying to bite into, and doesn’t feel like marshmallow. The other great discovery was that there are peanuts in this bar as well; this makes for a great mix with the nougat both in taste and texture. The chocolate coating is a little sparse and the quality of the chocolate is a little cheap but I guess it's not the focal point of this bar.
It's not a bad bar at all; it's just not great either. If you care about nougat as much as I do, and that would be surprising, then you'll find a nice little surprise in this snack. While I did enjoy the nougat, I’m not sure if it’s enough to make this a great bar.
