If you like coffee and you like Kit Kat (as every man, woman, or child should), then you'll like this bar a lot. Me, I'm not a huge coffee fan, however I do appreciate it when it's used well in chocolate bars. I think there's something nice about having the slightly bitter coffee flavour mixed with smooth, sweet milk chocolate. Maybe some coffee fanatics might disagree, and they might find that this Kit Kat is a little too sweet, and not "coffee" enough. Part of the problem I have when reviewing coffee treats is that people are not simply coffee fans or not. Many coffee fans like certain brands or types of coffee, and they might also like their coffee prepared a certain way. I guess what I'm saying is, I don't want to get into an argument on the quality of the coffee flavour, and how it's presented in this bar. If you absolutely hate coffee, you'll probably dislike this bar, if you have other opinions on coffee you may or may not like this bar.
Personally, as I said above, this bar falls into the area of coffee that I don't mind. Allison described it best as being similar to a Coffee Crisp bar, only a little stronger. I also found the texture to be very pleasing like most Kit Kat bars. The coffee flavour seems to come from a soft chocolate layer on the top of the bar. While it took away a layer of wafers that you'd normally find in a Kit Kat bar, the soft chocolate was still very nice.
It's hard to say if I would recommend this bar to you, it really depends on who you are and more importantly how you like your coffee. I'll say that I didn't mind it that much, but I only like coffee treats to have a hint of coffee and I prefer them on the sweeter side.
