Hmmm, how could I describe these, I'm not sure if caramel is correct, even though it’s the most prominent word on the package. Having said that they do have the word “Coco” on the package as well. So, it’s not surprising that it tastes more like coconut, but looks like a classic Kraft caramel. Texture wise it’s also a little softer than your average caramels. When I bit down, my teeth went through it like it was a soft nougat. I was expecting something much denser for sure.

I'm not really sure if I liked these Carmelo Blando that much. I’ve never been a big fan of coconut as a flavour, so I don't know if I would go nuts over these. Having said that the coconut taste is subtle enough, so that I don’t hate these caramel cubes. I'm not sure though, I think there might be little bits of coconut in it as well, but since its all mixed up with the caramel it's hard to tell.

I can't say it was the best treat in the world, but it's nice to finally try something from South America.
