Aero

Nestlé

This is one of those bars that has been around since I was a kid. I don’t know of a world without the Aero bar, and frankly I’m not interested in living in one either. This bar has a simple flavor with an interesting bubbly texture. The chocolate isn’t the highest quality you can find on the candy shelves, but it’s not the worst either. It’s hard to give this bar any points for being original because it’s been around for so long. The idea of putting bubbles into chocolate bars is so common, but Aero has been doing it for so long. Eating it wasn’t surprising, but maybe it was when it first came out.

If this was the first bar to have air bubble throughout then I'm not really sure who decided that chocolate bars needed more air and less chocolate? The one complaint I hear about Aero, and many other bars with bubbles is about the bubbles. People seem to like the texture, but it also seems like a way for candy companies to save a few dollars. Was this invented as a way to create a unique texture, or is it way to save money on chocolate. I think I could safely say that the Aero bar is at least one third air.

The Aero bar is an okay snack, my only two complaint would be the lack of quality in the chocolate and the fact that I’m paying for a lot of air.
